Display Contacts when sending email

Good Evening,

I need help here. When I am sending or even when I press the address book
the names of the contacts do not display. When I choose the drop box there is
nothing there. I have looked at the options but seem not to find where to fix
this. I have even used the Help button. I know I have added quite a few.
