Display problems with Entourage 2004 on OSX 10.4. Please help.

For a long time, I have been having a window display problem with
Entourage. I have updated to the last version of the OS and to the
latest version of Entourage and the problem is still there.
Just after opening Entourage, the problem is not there, but soon after
using it, the problem appears:
The main Entourage window will not hide (command-shift-H) when in
another application.
The button at the top of a message will not be clickable when the
message is a reply or a re-direct (very annoying since I have to save
as a draft and send it from the draft folder).
Many buttons are not clickable (grayed) when creating an account,
changing signatures or rules.
Does anybody have solved this problem? Thanks.

Try rebuilding the database.

In Entourage 2004, you must launch the Microsoft Database Utility.
1. Launch Entourage, holding down the ³Option² key. Or, launch the
Database Utility separately; it is located in HD/Applications/Microsoft
Office 2004/Office/.
2. If you are prompted, allow the Database Utility to quit open Office
applications.
3. Once the Database Utility is open, select your identity from the list at
the top.
4. Click the ³Rebuild Database² button, and click ³Continue.²
