display properties

Hello,
We recently got Sky broadband and downloaded Registery Mechanic and since
then in Display, Display Properties, Appearance, Windows and Buttons: and
from here i should have a choice of XP sytles of Silver, Green and Default
Blue but i only have Windows Classic Style. does anyone know how and why this
has happened?

Nothing to do with Office, or Sky
Personally I wouldn't use, or reccommend, any of these so called registry /
system tune up tools.
Your display properties are derived from Win and the display driver for your
graphic card
You should'nt use MS Update for drivers, obtain drivers, only if required,
from the hardware manufacturers sites or PC maker if a large OEM, eg Dell/HP
or Laptop

You could try:

Checking Registery Mechanic for an undo option. If it has one try it.

Or, restore your system to a restore point prior to when Registery
Mechanic made changes. If Registery Mechanic created a restore point prior
to making changes, try using that one.

If, you have image backups of your system, you could use the image made
prior to using Registery Mechanic to restore your system.

Then, consider uninstalling Registery Mechanic.
