Displaying durations to 3 decimal places

I am using Project 2000 to create a very precise timing diagram for a complex
diagnostic analyzer we are designing. I need to be able to break the
machine's individual tasks down into durations that can be expressed in
multiples of 0.025 sec increments (our computer scheduler's resolution
limit). I am currently letting 1 hr = 1 sec in the duration field for a task,
but I can only get the display to show 2 decimal places. I want to be able to
input durations and have MS Project work to 3 decimal places, but I don't
know if that is possible without customization of the program. For that
matter, can Project even be customized in this way if desired ?

Sorry, Can't get any finer than 2 decimal places.
Since you are already substituting hours for seconds, perhaps you can
multiply by 10 as well.
Personally I think I'd do it in excel.
