Displaying total minutes in the form of hours and minutes

I am simply trying to enter data as minutes (i.e. 40, 30,
45, etc.), add those minutes (in this case, to get 115
minutes), but have the display calculated in hours and
minutes (for this example, 1:55).
I can not seem to figure this out, and would appreciate
any assistance.
