Dissolving Word

Hi all,

I am currently making a presentation on MS PP 98 and using MS Windows 98 SE.
What i am trying to do is make a passage appear on the screen and then
automatically disappear and then another one reappear. I have set this up in
'Customer Animation' so that they appear after eachother, but within this,
in 'Effects', I have chosen 'After Animation' and then chose the colour
black as my background is black. When the passages fade and the other one
then appears, there is a kind of white shadow on the screen (my text is
white).

I can't chose 'Hide After Animation' as i want the passage to appear on
screen for a few seconds nor do i want 'Hide on Mouseclick' as this is too
fussy as i would like to stay away from screen as i want this to have an
impact on audience.

Anyone know how to get rid of this white text shadow? When i give my
presentation on a projector, will this shadow still appear of is it just on
my comp that it appears?

Thanks in advance

Ignore my last post. Have sorted it now! Had to "format text box" so that
background in text box and line colour were same colour as slide background
