I have a distribution list of 500 names, which my ISP
says is too large to send in one e-mail. Is there a way
to reduce the size without having to re-key the e-mail
addresses?

Save the DL as a .txt file, open it in Notepad to remove everything at the
top leaving just the names and addresses, then import into a new, empty
contacts folder in Outlook. You can now use that folder as the data source
for a mail merge with Word, sending an individual item to each person.
