Distributing Musical Slide-shows

Chewmen.ldr

Well, let's just say this is not the easiest thing to-do. I have
constructed several presentations, and all are musical photo-albums.
The problem is that most songs are linked, though some smaller than 50
MB are embedded. I am planning to burn all of these PowerPoints on CD's
and send them out to family and friends.

Now, I will place a PowerPoint viewer on the CD's but how do I make
sure all of the linked songs are valid? Please, any comments I would
appreciate.

Chewmen,

The fail safe option is to use Sonia Colemans autorun cd maker add-in for
powerpoint. That software will sort out all the links to music
automatically.

The diy approach is to make sure all your .wav files are in the SAME folder
as your .ppt file BEFORE you insert > movies and sounds > from file.

That gets around powerpoints insistence on linking to a full path for movies
and sounds
eg.
c:\this\is\where\i\keep\my\sounds
