I have a few distribution lists that are grouped together as "Contacts" and
then shared in a public folder in Outlook 2003. When a contact in the DL is
viewed by an Outlook 2000 client, the "Email" field shows the same thing that
is viewed in the "Name" field minus the first two characters. If you double
click on the contact to view the properties of that specific email address,
it shows the missing two characters in the first and last fields in the
properties box and the third viewable character in the middle box. That is
all that is shown in properties. When all of this is done as an Outlook 2003
client, it works perfect.
