Distribution list disappears:

This is driving me and my assistant nuts. I"ll select members to be on the
list. Periodically the membership just disappears although the heading or
title of the list remains in Outlook Contacts. Why? How fix?

DL's have never been reliable. Most of us don't use them.
If you still want to, I'd run the Inbox Repair Tool on your PST (assuming
you are not running against Exchange Server) and them be sure to create the
DL from scratch using only Contacts that were created in your current
version of Outlook (and never imported).
