Copying distribution list in Outlook 00

How do I copy part of a distribution list into a new distribution list in
Outlook 2000?

You can't.
The closest you can come is to use the "Copy to Folder..." command to save
it to a different location where you can tweak it to your heart's content,
then rename it and move it back to your default folder.
