Why don't distribution lists show up in my Palm E after I
sychronize it with the contacts on my computer. I have
made a field in my "current view" for the distributions
list to appear but it does not show up on my palm?

You'll need to ask the manufacturers of your Palm's synchronization

Microsoft Active Sync will not export DLs to my Ipaq.
