DL Size Restriction-Outlook 2003

Mike

We are on Exchange 2003 with all hotfixes SP, etc and Office 2003 SP1 and
need to create a Distribution list larger than 100 / 130 recipients.. I've
read KB articles about creating 2,3,4,5 addresses to accomidate the
restriction...but no real reg hack for the Client and no real answer of how
to change this on the Server side....

Does anyone have answers out there??

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You already explained the available solution. It's a limitation of the Exchange store itself.

Thank you Sue.
So I can assume there is absolutely no way to "work around" on the Server
side in 2003? I've found a reg hack for lifting size restrictions for PST/OST
in O2003 (which has no bearing on this situation) but I'm safe to say there
is nothing out there to lift the size restriction for DL groups??
Thanks again

That's correct, as has been said repeatedly here and elsewhere. Yet another reason to avoid depending on DLs.

Sorry, first time I've researched this anywhere/elsewhere. If there another
solution for 1000 Contacts without a group/DL? I'd like to know it.
Thanks again

Mail merge from individual contacts is a better solution, IMO, since it provides the opportunity to general personalized messages and will be more likely to get through a recipient's spam filter than a bulk-addressed message.
