Document Conversion Issue

Hello,

When I open documents written in Windows 98, in 2000 or 2003, I find
that the documents are longer, sometimes much longer. The pagination
has changed.

For example, a spec screenplay that was 115 pages in Win98, in 1999,
balloons to 135 pages in Win 2000 or 2003. Few industry professionals
will read a screenplay over 120 pages, so now, in 2007, I have a
worthless script - unless I chop 15 pages of the material!

What's going on here? This problem must affect thousands of writers.
So far, no one has given me a plausible answer. Some have suggested
that the problem in a new printer with new printer drivers. Is this
true? If so, what is the solution? Printers wear out; you get new
ones. Does this mean you must retype all your old scripts?? Help!

The default line spacing in Word 2007 is 1.15 lines, I believe. You can set
it back to single and get back to your original length.
