Hi Andy!

Like most software packages today, Office includes its documentation in
its Help menu. (Be sure to select Help --> "Product" Help.)

Complete menu-by-menu documentation will be available in third party
books. However, when searching Amazon.com I see that the three they
offer are still available for pre-order only.

Hope this helps!

Hi Bill,

thanks for your fast reply.
Like most software packages today, Office includes its documentation in
its Help menu. (Be sure to select Help --> "Product" Help.)

Well - it could be you refer to Windows-Software, but on the Mac I can't really remeber ANY software package without documentation, sorry. A Help-menu is quite different from documentation, because if I ask for help, I already know what I'm missing. But as long as there's no functional documentaion, how do I know, if I am asking for a valid help?

Anyway, I was confused, because cursor is in the 'Search' field when opening the Help-Menu. I guess, Joe-user will enter something and finds nothing related (because it's not Offices' help.. That calls for troubles.

But that's only my 0.02

PS: IMHO a documentaion pdf (or whatever) would be very appropriate for a professional software like Office. I - at least - prefer studying a manual before getting lost into trial-and-error.
