Documents assigned to projects?

Is there a way to assign an Office document to an Entourage project from
inside the working document? This would be useful and save me a lot of
time...

For example, if I am working in Word on a document that I know will belong
to 'Project XYZ' is there a mechanism within Word to associate that document
with 'Project XYZ'? Then, when it is saved it would automatically appear in
the list of files in that project in Entourage?

If there is such a method, I can't figure it out.

There is such a method. Open the scrapbook in any non-Entourage Office
application and switch to the project view (the last of the four buttons).
Select your project you want to work with (simply click on the name of the
project, that'll bring up a list of all the available projects), and click
on the small orange "+" sign on the left side, just below the title bar.
That will add your current document to the selected project, and your
document will show up in the Project Centre like any other document.
