Does anyone else have problems seeing line drawings in MSWord?

Latest version of Word with a PC that has plenty of memory. they are there
(can see them in print preview) but all or part keep disapearing?

Known issue - Word is hopeless with graphics. For callouts, I label
the picture using an external package and import that.
