hello all,
i am developing a sync services application to sync my
backend server with mac ical and MS Entourage 11.2.3
In case of syncing meetings i face problem of
ducplication of meeting at attendees server calendar, the scenario is
like this

1. The Organizer of a meeting creates meeeting in his Entourage.

2. Meeting gets reflected at attendees calendar.

3. Now attendee syncs with server calendar, before the organizer syncs
with his server calendar.

4. Meeting gets reflected at attendee's server calendar.

5. Now the Organizer syncs with his server calendar.

6. Meeting gets reflected at Organizers server calendar, and server
sends meeting requests to all attendees, and this request creates
duplicate meeting at attendees server calendar.

i have been suggested that.........outlook maintains 0x3 and 0x23
properties with meetings to avoid such cases, and i belive if outlook
has these things then Entourage must also have......but i m not able to
access them yet :(

does any one has any idea.........please help me
thanks

Calendar entries haveunique IDs and you can access them through
AppleScript. You can find more infromation looking in the Entourage
AppleScript dictionary.
