Double line spacing in signature

Outlook 2003 had double line spacing in my sig. Have tried:
Checking and Unchecking the box "Use Microsoft Word 2003 as e-mail editor."
Changing from HTML to Rich Text to Plain Text and back.
Repaired Office
Reinstalled Office
Checked all the usual paragraph formatting options to make sure they are set to "single".

Try ending each line of the signature with Shift+Enter (line break) instead
of Enter (paragraph break).
