Down to Across

I have a column on info (A1,A2,A3,A4) and I want to
transpose to a row (A1,B1,C1,D1). I used to have the
formula to do it, but I can't find it now. Can anyone
help?
Thanks in advance!

Either:-

Copy and then do Edit / Paste Special / Transpose for a one time op,

or

Select a 4 cell transposed range, type =TRANSPOSE( select original range, put in
final parenthesis ) then hit CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER. This will create a linked
transposed range.
