Downloading images with HTML emails

D

Dina

HI again. Another question. I know that I have to turn on the
preference to receive pictures with HTML email from folks in my
address book. But, I don't want to add every single cotton-pickin'
person to my already-bloated address book. Lots of these emails are
not something I would respond to (like, my grocery store sending me my
weekly specials). I suppose I could add them, assign them a category,
and then not show that category in the list, but this is way too hard.
Am I missing some little tidbit of info?

Thanks again!--d

If it's a newsletter, you can add the domain to the "Safe Domains" tab of
the "Junk E-mail Protection" dialog to have the images display
automatically. Otherwise, you can always click the button to download the
images manually.

Also, "Command + =" will add the sender of the selected message to the
address book. It's a quick and easy option.
