Downloading to folder

S

Steve Simek

Hi, Thanks in advance for help.

I have used a form for about a year to let people browse their desktop and
submit a picture to a download folder on my website. I remember a year ago
seeing that it required a password and doing a web search to find the
answer. The password requirement was able to be removed. Now, after a "fix"
by my provider, the password prompt is back, and I can't for the life of me
find the answer again!
Atgh!
Does anyone know how to eliminate the pw requirement when downloading?

TIA
Steve

Here is a tutorial that explains the process.

It is my understanding that you may have to open the site live to allow
anonymous upload (I had to anyway).

In addition, your host would need to allow this.

I would first try setting the folder permissions. If that doesn't do it, you
may need to reinstall the extensions as well.

I have had the password prompt appear on a normal FP form. After
reinstalling the FPSE, the form functioned properly.
