DRAFT E-MAIL NOT BEING FILED IN SENT FOLDER ONCE SENT

I am having a problem with draft e-mails not going into my "Sent" folder
after I send them. I need verification that the e-mails actually went out
and to verify this I just look in the "Sent" folder, but if I send an e-mail
from my "Draft" folder it does not show up in my "Sent" folder. It just
duplicates the e-mail itself in the "Draft" folder locally. I am using IMAP
protocol. Anyone know why this is happening? I'd appreciate any
thoughts/suggestions you all may have.

Is this your IMAP draft folder or your local DRAFT folder?

Go to Tools/Accounts/Mail/that account. Click on Advanced tab. Do you have a
server Drafts folder, as well as a server Sent folder, set up? If not - do
so. If your IMAP account does not actually have a Drafts folder or subfolder
on the server, make one first in the Folder List, Or you may have one that
is not subscribed - click on the server icon in Folder List select the
Drafts folder in the main window list, and click Subscribe button. Then go
to account/Advanced and set it up.

If it's already all set up correctly, I'm not sure what could be going
wrong.

Thanks for the quick response and I apologize for the lack of version info.

I am running Entourage 10.1.4 on OS 10.2. To answer your question, yes I
already have those folders created and subscribed and I have checked the
necessary boxes to send sent mail to the Sent folder and draft mail to the
Draft folder; however the problem is when I complete an email in the Draft
folder and I am ready to send. Once I hit the send button, the e-mail stays
in the Draft folder, copies itself to the Local Draft folder on my computer
but does not put it in the Sent folder. That is what I need help with. All
other mail I send goes to the Sent folder except for mail I send directly
from the Draft folder. Is this suppose to happen or is this just a glitch
in Entourage?

Is this happening when you double-click once on the message in the IMAP
Drafts folder and click the Send Now button in its own toolbar?

That shouldn't be happening, no. The message should just be sent - going
first to the Outbox, then disappear, then to IMAP Sent Items folder.

Have you perhaps changed the account of the message from the IMAP account to
another, POP account?

Do you have any Outgoing Rules (Tools/Rules/Outgoing)? If so, what?

OK. What happens if you click the Send Later button? Dies the message close
and move to the Outbox? If so, what happens when you then Send All
(Shift-Command-K)?
