drag-copy-delete in entourage w/ exch. account?

Hi all,

Just moved to entourage 2004, and i have an exchange acct set up..

One question on this however- when i move a message from my exchange
inbox to a local folder, it makes a copy, but does not *move* the
message- ie, the copy is still left on the server. Is there a way to
change this? When i drag to another folder, i would expect the online
copy to be deleted.

thanks!

Also, I do know that the "move" button can do this-- but a drag-drop is
MUCH quicker and easier, if you have a high volume of mail coming in.

Thanks!

Sorry, no. It works like the Finder - dragging between different
disks/servers does a copy also.

OK- thanks for the info!!! I just created a new offline "inbox-2"
folder, and set up a rule to move all messages from the exchange
account to this folder when recieved. then i can move-copy-delete in
one motion from this "new inbox".

Thanks!!
