dragging not functioning

I am using Office 2008 with OS 10.5.1 and my ability to drag messages
or contacts has ceased entirely. I tried rebuilding the database to
no avail. This is a critical function and a major problem -- I cannot
believe after all of this time this release is so buggy. Any ideas?

What happens when you try? Does it drag but not go? Does it not drag? Do you
get an error? Please be specific.

It just doesn't function. It will not drag. If I have 5 contacts
selected and try to drag them into email, I lose the selection.

Try testing in a new User to see if it's system wide or a problem in your
User's folder.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Office there.
