Drawing a Straight Line

Is there a way to draw a straight line in a PowerPoint show using the pen
tool?
I know in PPT 2002 you caould hold Shift while clicking but 2003 does not
seem to support this.

Tom,
PPT 2003 introduced inking support, I guess, with that the did away the
feature which was available in earlier versions.

If it's possible I am sure someone will chip in soon.
