Drop down menu problem

I have two drop down menus on my web page. One for date links and one for
page links. In the first one, once the date is selected you go to the
appropriate page, then when done you return. The drop down menu resets
itself to "select date" and you make your selection again.

In the second the same process takes place except that when you return to
"select page" it does not reset itself. The previous date selected is now in
the selection window. If you highlight the "select page" at this point the
link tries to find that page without success.

Something is missing in the code, but I can't determine what?

The site page is Http://www.forbes-kindred.com/FamilyEvents.htm

Thanks for your help

For both dropdowns, you have a JavaScript immediately following the dropdown
code, which sets the selectedIndex of the dropdown to zero. The problem is,
the second JavaScript is an exact copy of the first. They both set the same
dropdown.
