DRW does not work in subweb

I'm trying to setup up the DRW database in a subweb, but
I get an error when I access the database web page. The
error is: "The database connection named 'Sample' is
undefined". It works fine in the wwwroot, but not in a
subweb.

Make sure that the subweb is configured as an app root.
