Dude! Where is my e-mail?!

A

Everything was fine until I ran "Microsoft Service Pack1".
I'm on Entourage X, and after downloading and installing the update,
everything got wiped out, including my ID.

I tried Advanced Rebuild and Import...nothing happens.

I have my Database which is about 18MB, (large enough to have all the
info I lost?) But how to I make Entourage to see all that info again?

Thanks for your help

Oh dear, This is the second report I have seen of this now.

Bad news is - 18mb is the default size for an empty database :(

Have you tried selecting 'switch identity' from the entourage menu to see if
another identity shows up there with all your data in it?

If not, can you please post back with details of the accounts you have
defined on your system, whether they are admin or user accounts, and which
accounts data was lost? This may help to narrow down a common cause with the
other person who reported a similar problem.

Apart from what Barry said:

Microsoft Office 2004 Service pack 1 is for Office 2004 - Entourage 2004,
not X. I don't know how you would have managed to run it on Entourage X.
(Office v. X has its own updater, 10.1.6, which won't do too much if you
were already using 10.1.4 or 10.1.5.)

I'm not surprised something odd - like a new identity - would occur. Do what
Barry says, and check if you're real identity is also present.
