Dumb question about MS Forms

S

Suzette

I just set up a new computer and for the life of me can't figure out where
to change the default font for objects put on forms. It seems that with this
computer, I keep getting Tahoma 8 pt. I want something different. Whenever
I edit a control on this computer, it changes the font of whatever object I
am on.

Thanks

Suzette

What kin of objects?
What type of form? (A userform?)
that with this computer, I keep getting Tahoma 8 pt. I want

Gives some examples of want you want to do.

I want the default font for objects (textboxes, labels etc) to be MS Sans
Serif when I put them on a user form using the toolbox.

Yes, it is a userform in VBA.

Thanks

I believe this is a Windows setting.

Maybe in the desktop "Properties" (click on the "Appearance" tab and click
on advanced.
There change the font associated with the elements you want to modify and
click on Apply).

But more likely it is a registry setting, but I do not know which one.

From your post I get the impression that you know how to change the font in
each control manually...You could write a function that cycles through all
controls in the userform and change the font properties. Then include that
function in all your Userform (Calling it in the Initialize event). That way
you would be guaranteed that your userform always looked the same on any
computer.
