dumb question

OK, here's a dumb question. In creating text boxes in
Powerpoint 2000, how do I get the program to quit
capitalizing the first word in each line? I know that
newer versions of Powerpoint allow you to merely click on
that letter and tell the program to stop. But this
version doesn't do that, and nothing in the help menu, or
text-box formatting seems to help.

Mark,
this is a GREAT question. I have been putting up with this annoyance and
have never even thought of asking. I also would like to know this, thanks
so much for asking.

Mark,
Select Tools | Autocorrect options.
On the AutoCorrect tab, untick the option to 'Capitalize first letter of
sentences'
Click on OK.

That should do it.
