Duplicate Calendar requests

I have a user that when he invites people to a Calendar event, the invites
get two emails about it. The first email has the users full name as the
sender and has all the people he invited in the TO field. The second email
is strange, because it shows only his email address as the sender and shows
one person as the recipient who was never invited to the calendar event. It
is always the same person in the second email that everyone gets. I have
checked the users account in AD and the account doesn't have anyone as a
delegate or a send on behave of setting.

I haven't been able to reproduce this problem on a different computer. Also
the user left out of town so I don't have access to his computer to further
test this.

Anyone seem anything like this?
