duplicate email messages

When ever I open Entourage 2004 I get duplicate copies of all my
emails. It's a pain to delete every other email. I've looked through
preferences and account settings and can't seem to find the correct
thing to switch off. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am having the exact same problem and can't find the answer anywhere.
Please let me know if you come up with the solution!
