Duplicate emails from exchange

I am having an issue with Entourage 2004 and 2008 in an exchange environment that I can't seem to figure out. Is this a bug? When sending emails to a person who is individually addressed and that same person is in an email group they receive the email 2 times. Once for the individual address and again because that person is in a group that has been addressed. I have done some research and found that it does not happen when using Outlook for the PC, only in Entourage. Is the problem a bug or is it fixable on the server side? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a bug? When sending emails to a person who is individually addressed
and that same person is in an email group they receive the email 2 times. Once
for the individual address and again because that person is in a group that
has been addressed.

Are you saying that in the "To" the message is address to Bob Smith and an
additional contact is a group with Bob Smith as one of the entries? If yes,
then Entourage is going to send it twice. I'm not an Exchange expert so
there could be a setting that would correct this. One of the Exchange
experts will be along to soon.

BTW, are you aware there is a public beta for Entourage Exchange 2008?

Entourage for Exchange Web Services Beta goes live!

Thanks for the response Diane. This happens in both versions of Entourage 2008 and 2004. Yes to clarify, if you send some one an email and put them in the To field as well as CC to a group that they are a member of they will receive the email 2 times. Again this does not occur when using Outlook for the PC only in Entourage versions mentioned above. Any help is appreciated. This is more of a nuisance than anything and my supervisors wanted me to check into it.

Is there anyone out there who might have an answer to my question? I would like to get to the source of this issue it is very annoying and bothersome. If the best route would be to call and start a case with Microsoft that is what I will do.
