Hi,
I'm using Entourage 2004. I keep most of my work mail on an IMAP server and
leave it there. When I'm downloading message headers, sometimes I get them
more than once.
The first entry in the message list is the one which gets run through the
rules--categorized, projectized, etc. But the little envelope icon remains
in the pre-downloaded state, and there is no body to the message when I open
it. The second entry is the one which has the message body, but is not
categorized.
If I view the sources, I can see that the blank message has the same headers
as the complete message, but no message body. But I less'd my inbox on the
computer which contains the mail folder, and nothing seems awry; the message
headers and body are both there as normal.
If I try to delete the blank message by hitting the delete key, nothing
happens. If I try to delete the blank message by dragging it to a deleted
items folder, the full message disappears (and not the blank one).
Is there a way to keep this from happening? Barring that, is there a way to
get rid of the fractional message?
TIA,
Matt
