duplicate mail windows

Every now and then Entourage seems to go crazy on me, stacking up
duplicate copies of the Mail window (as many as 11). What gives? I'm
on a new PowerBook G4, using Office 2004 and Panther. It might only
happen when I'm using the wireless keyboard and mouse, although I'm
not sure.

I know that if you double-click on a folder in the folder list (or open it
via the Open) command, E 2004 will open it in a new Mail window. Could this
be happening to you somehow?

That might be a clue, Ed. When I select a folder and control-O to
open, if I am just a bit heavy-fingered I get quite a pile-up of
windows. Thanks.
