duplicate messages Help!

i just installed office 2004 and when i recieve my new mail i get a duplicate
copy every time. I checked settings and can not figure out why, Please Help!

If you left copies of you mail on the server and you also imported your mail
from a previous program, that would do it. It will stop for ever message you
receive solely in Entourage that wasn't also received in your old program
and then imported.
