Duplicate messages

Messages appear twice in my inbox. Ping ping sound is heard whenever I
receive email indicating a duplication. Bong bong sound is heard when
there
there is no messages after periodic check of mailbox.

Go to Tools>Accounts and make sure you don't have two identical accounts.
