Dynamic Web Template and JavaScript

I added a piece of javascript to my dwt and now the page just comes up blank...is scripting not allowed in the template?? Is there a work-around?? thanks!

Yes it is allowed
But for scripts in selected pages you need a separate Editable region in the HEAD section
For the same script on all pages it can be in an uneditable regions, but is best called as an external script
