Does anyone know why I would not be able to send mail
from outlook to an address outside my domain? I can
recieve messages from external addresses but cannot send.

"Cannot send" doesn't give us much to go on :) What exactly happens when
you try to send? Any error messages? If so, what is the exact text of the
message?
