Hello!
This happens only rarely and we haven't isolated a specific pattern,
but perhaps someone can help me or point me to a resource.
Our office has several Macs using Entourage that routes e-mail through
our company's Echange server. (The rest of the organization is on PCs.)
Rarely, an Entourage user will report sending an e-mail to a recipient
(or a list of) and the e-mail won't arrive until the next day or even
later.
What would cause that?
As near as I can tell, it involves how messages are scheduled to cycle
through Send and Receive. If your program quits before the next cycle
is complete, a message may be dealyed in reaching a recipient.
Or... The server can't route the message because it's queue is
backlogged or is down temporarily.
Anything else? I tried the FAQs and couldn't find my specific problem.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
