E-mail Sent Twice (Outlook 2003)

I have a user who sent an e-mail two days ago right before he logged off for
the day. When he came in yesterday, as soon as he logged on the same e-mail
was sent again.

He says this has happened a couple of times in the past. Can anyone shed
light on why this would happen?
