Is that the full extent of the error message? Does the email ever leave your
Outbox? Could you please provide the version of Microsoft Outlook you're
using?
Also, is antivirus actively scanning incoming and outgoing email? This can
be one of the reasons a larger email won't go out. Disable the scanning
integration with Outlook and try again, although with some antivirus
applications this might not even work. Sometimes they have to be uninstalled
and reinstalled, omitting the integration with Outlook.
Also, is the email very large? Your ISP may have a limit on the size of the
outgoing email. Your recipient's ISP may have a limit on the size of their
incoming email.
