E-mailing PowerPoint

Can someone pls clue me in on how to compress a PowerPoint file for
e-mailing? I attempted to e-mail a file, and recipient could not open
as file too large. I use Mac OS X and Safari.

First, you should check out the advice at "Why are my PowerPoint files so
big? What can I do about it?" from the PPT FAQ:

It's very Windows-centric, but most of the advice applies across
platforms.

Next, look for compression software for the Mac. I used to use
CompactPro, but I don't know if that is updated for OS X. Another
alternative is StuffIt (http://www.stuffit.com/).

Finally, you might have better luck with Mac questions at the Mac
PowerPoint group: microsoft.public.mac.office.powerpoint
