Edit Account Settings Error Message

After switching from X-2004, when I double click on any of the accounts in
my Accounts list, I get the following error message: ³the action could not
be completed. An error (-30588) occurred. I¹ve tried rebuilding the
databases but that didn¹t seem to work. The account settings work fine, I
just can¹t edit them (but I can delete and create new ones)

Further to the error above, if I try to create an account and try to
configure manually, the configure window closes and I¹m returned to the main
Accounts window. And even more perplexing, my signatures disappeared so
since I can¹t edit the account or configure an new one manually so I can set
up the signature to be assigned to the account.

I spoke to Microsoft engineers and this is a known bug for office X->2004
upgrades (not an issue on full install)
