Editing Contacts from List view

G

Geoff Clark

Is there a way to edit contact info from the main list view as opposed to
requiring that each contact be opened, navigate to the appropriate tab, then
edit info? Would be a huge time saver and something I¹m used to from
OfficeXP/03 prior to my recent switch.

Many thanks for any help!

No.

You can use keyboard shortcuts to save you time. cmd-O, cmd-Return, and
cmd-Enter will all open a selected contact.

control-tab and shift-control-tab move forward and backwards among the tabs
(except the last tab, sort of).

tab and shift-tab move forwards and backwards among the fields.

Thank you for your response Paul. I will eventually get used to all the
shortcuts and get faster. I find it very helpful reading your other posts,
and all the readers are very fortunate that you take so much time addressing
questions!
Kind regards,
Geoff
