Editing or adding to new email messages in shared inbox

I'm using MS Outlook and monitoring an inbox of someone who's using Entourage.

When a new incoming msg is opened in Outlook, there is an 'edit message' option which can be used to add a note to the other user. In Entourage, however, we can't find a similar function for that person to leave me an instruction about how to deal with the message.

Is an edit function available in Entourage and we're just looking in the wrong place to find it?

I'm not sure how this would work in a shared mailbox, but Entourage 2008
does have an edit feature under Message --> Edit Message. You must have
the message open or be viewing it in preview mode to use this.
