editing single occurent of recurring event

Judith Miller

Hi--

I'm using Entourage 2004. When I create a recurring event, I can't
modify any single occurrence of the event. ICal lets me do this easily.
As a student, it's obviously pretty important to me to be able to use
my calendar like this. I've looked through old postings here and found
that Berkowitz's script has a work-around, but he doesn't have a script
up (so far as I could tell) for Entourage 2004. What can I do? Is there
a work-around? Anyone know if Microsoft is ever planning to fix this
problem?

I don't have any script that modifies a single occurrence of a recurring
event. Do you mean "Duplicate Calendar Event X"? It could be used this way,
yes, if you then also deleted "just this occurrence" in the calendar. That
script works just as well in 2004 as in X: there's been no change.
