Editing subject in individual recurring appointments

I could use advice on how to deal with this situation. As a teacher, I
have a timetable that rotates through an eight day cycle, though the
period times are fixed. Period one day one becomes period two day
three, then period three day five, and finally period four day seven.
The school uses Exchange server, so I use Entourage to keep my schedule
on the server. When I used Outlook in my Windows days, I would create
repeating appointments for the period times through the year and then
delete my free periods and enter the correct class names on an
appointment-by-appointment basis. In Entourage, you don't seem to be
able to change the subject name for a recurring event. Last year, I
worked around this by using iCal and then copying the appointments over
to Entourage using the Sync-Entourage iCal script. I am having some
difficulties under Tiger even with the new version of the script
involving odd overwrites of events and some non-overwrites. There must
be some more direct way to change the subject for individual events! I
can't be the only person who wants to do this!
