Email alias moved to deleted items on IMAP server

I have my own domain and have a couple of aliases (aka email forwarding) for
my primary email address. Every time I receive an email addressed to the
alias, it shows up in my Entourage local inbox but is immediately moved to
my IMAP server's deleted items. Since I use a couple different email clients
to access my IMAP folders, this causes some mail not to be seen (mostly on
my Treo which only syncs with the Inbox).

I can not find any rule or obvious account setting that is making this
happen. Can anyone give me a suggestion? Thank you.

DId you recently rebuild your ENtourage database?? Did you have a rule
to move the e-mails to a specific folder?? If yes, there is a strong
probablility that the rebuild messed up the rule and the e-mails are now
being moved locally (On My COmputer). In the process, the original
e-mail is sent to the trash in the IMAP account.

I did a rebuild a couple weeks ago, but I never had a rule in place to move
those messages. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but before this was an
IMAP account it was a POP account. I deleted the POP account settings and
created the IMAP account from scratch. The only rule I have applied to this
account is to move messages marked spam by my ISP into the Junk folder. Any
suggestions on a fix? Thanks.

Did you double check to see whether the rule had been corrupted or not??

Beside funky rules, I've never experienced the problem myself and I
don't have a fix unfortunately :-\
